As promised, here is the answer to my question on how many news articles would mention the anniversary of the Emancipation of the slaves in Washington, DC?
Surprisingly there were 765 of them according to my Google News Search. Now, a good bit had to do with how it would affect filing taxes but still a rather unexpected large number. Hopefully a few people learned something new and maybe next year we will see even more articles.
